The Japan Iron and Steel Federation
On May 9th, Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China (“MOFCOM”) announced the termination of its anti-dumping investigation on imports of Certain Alloy-Steel Seamless Tubes and Pipes for High Temperature and Pressure Service from Japan.
The Japanese steel industry demonstrated during the investigation that the volume of Japanese imports was negligible pursuant to relevant WTO rules. We understand that MOFCOM accepted this fact and consequently reached the decision to terminate its investigation with respect to Japan.
